My Take
Gerald Grosvenor, the 6th Duke of Westminster, intrigues me as a study in inherited weight. Born into one of Britain's largest fortunes and chairman of the Grosvenor Group property empire, he could easily have coasted on privilege. Instead he served as a Territorial Army major general and earned the Knighthood of the Garter, a rare honour. I find something quietly admirable in a man who, handed everything, still chose duty over leisure. He died in 2016 at 64. Rather than envy or resent such wealth, I'm more curious about the discipline it takes to carry an estate without being crushed by it.
