My Take

I find Griffin Newman genuinely likable, and that matters more than people admit. Beyond playing the lead in The Tick and voicing Orko in Masters of the Universe: Revelation, it's his work as a podcaster on Blank Check that wins me over. An actor who can also talk about film with real love tends to be the most interesting kind, because the passion is authentic. He sits comfortably between performer and commentator, and I think that range will keep serving him. He feels underrated to me, and I'm rooting for him to break wider.
