My Take
Harry Lloyd strikes me as an actor who genuinely loves the craft over the spotlight. He broke through as Will Scarlet in Robin Hood, unnerved audiences in Doctor Who, and gave a superb turn as Viserys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, making that arrogant, pitiable prince both loathsome and oddly tragic. That ability to be hateful and sympathetic at once is a real skill. Eton-educated and BAFTA-nominated for The Fear, he seems to choose transformation over stardom, slipping between very different roles rather than coasting on a single image. Character actors with that instinct tend to endure, and I expect he will.
