My Take
I've always thought of Haruko Momoi as one of those rare triple-threats who refuses to pick a lane, and honestly I love her for it. She sings, she voices characters, she acts, and on top of all that she writes her own songs and lyrics, so the music actually sounds like her rather than something handed to her. Coming up out of late-'90s Tokyo, she was right in the thick of the era when anime and otaku culture were exploding into the mainstream, and you can feel that she helped build that scene instead of just riding it. There's a homemade, do-it-yourself spirit to her that I find genuinely charming. She carved out her own corner with her own voice and melodies, and I just want her to keep doing exactly that at her own pace.
