Holly Humberstone

What strikes me about Holly Humberstone is how unhurried her rise feels despite the early Brit Award for Rising Star. Coming from a small town like Grantham, she writes intimate, almost diaristic songs that trust the listener to lean in rather than be shouted at. I find that restraint rare and genuinely promising. Too many young artists chase a viral hook; she seems to chase a feeling instead. I'd happily wager her catalog ages better than her chart positions, and I'm curious to watch whether the industry lets her keep that quiet, confessional voice intact.
