My Take

Hunter Tylo, born Deborah Jo Hunter, fascinates me for a reason that has nothing to do with glamour: endurance. Playing Taylor Hayes on The Bold and the Beautiful across nearly three decades is a feat I don't think casual viewers appreciate. To inhabit one character that long is to age alongside an audience that comes to treat you as family. A Fordham graduate who also worked as a model and writer, she clearly had range beyond the soap, yet what impresses me is the sheer staying power. In an industry obsessed with novelty, being a constant, familiar face takes uncommon grit.
