My Take

Brissett is the kind of quarterback I respect more than I root for, and that is a compliment. He has never been the franchise face, but from New England to Arizona he has built a career out of being the steady hand a team reaches for when the starter goes down. There is real value in a player who can step in cold and keep an offense functional without melodrama. At 193 cm with that even-keeled Sagittarius temperament, he reads to me as a true professional's professional. Careers like his are the quiet scaffolding the whole league depends on.
