My Take
Jed Rees is exactly the kind of character actor I find quietly delightful. A Vancouver native, he keeps surfacing in films I love, from Galaxy Quest to Deadpool, with a face you recognize even when the name escapes you. That is the hallmark of a real working performer: someone who can change the temperature of a scene in a single appearance. I have a genuine fondness for the people who shine in the margins rather than the center. Honestly, I look forward to spotting him in whatever comes next.
