Toshiki Masuda

Okay, Toshiki Masuda is one of those guys I fell for through his voice before I ever clocked his face. A Hiroshima kid born in 1990, he came up as a seiyuu, and then somewhere along the way he's also acting on stage and singing, and I'm just sitting there going, how many tools does one person get to keep in the bag? What gets me is the range: he can drop into something low and steely or float up into something soft and sweet, and he reshapes the color of his voice to fit whatever the role needs, which is the kind of craft I never get bored of. He doesn't seem like the loud, look-at-me type either; he's more the quietly leaves-a-mark-in-the-work type, and honestly those are the performers who sneak up and win me over for the long haul. Keep the voices coming, man.
