My Take

Jesper Blomqvist is one of those players I remember more for grit than glamour. A 168 cm left winger from Umeå, Sweden, he held his own in the physical Premier League and was part of Manchester United's treble-winning squad. What I respect most came later: returning as a playing assistant manager at Hammarby, refusing to drift away from the grind of the game.
