John Bradley

For me, John Bradley will always be Samwell Tarly, and that's a compliment of the highest order. He took a character who could have been comic relief and gave him a quiet, growing dignity that anchored some of Game of Thrones' most emotional beats. What I admire is his refusal to chase conventional leading-man looks; instead he trades on warmth, intelligence, and vulnerability. Coming up through Manchester and a local university, there's an unpretentious, earned quality to his career. I think actors who make audiences feel safe and seen are undervalued, and Bradley is exactly that kind of performer. I'm curious to watch him age into richer roles.
