My Take

I hold writers like Justina Robson in high regard. Born in Leeds in 1968 and educated at the University of York, she works in science fiction, a genre I think does some of the bravest thinking around. The best SF authors interrogate technology, the body, and the boundaries of being human long before the rest of us catch up. Robson strikes me as a cerebral, quietly daring builder of worlds rather than a writer chasing headlines or gossip.
