Keith Scott

Keith Scott is the unsung hero I always notice. Since 1976 the Vancouver guitarist has stood beside Bryan Adams, a loyalty that spans nearly half a century and is genuinely rare in music. He has also lent his playing to Cher, Tina Turner, David Bowie, and Bryan Ferry, marking him as a craftsman among craftsmen. What moves me is his willingness to serve the song rather than chase the spotlight. That selfless, road-tested dependability is the very definition of a great sideman, and players like Scott deserve far more recognition than they usually get.
