Kelly Reilly

Kelly Reilly is one of those actors who quietly sneaked up on the mainstream and then absolutely detonated it — and I mean that as the highest compliment. She built her craft the old-fashioned way, doing serious stage work and solid British dramas like Above Suspicion before Hollywood came calling. Then she landed Beth Dutton on Yellowstone and suddenly everyone who'd slept on her was scrambling to catch up. Beth is one of the most ferociously written characters on American television, and Reilly plays her without a single false note — the rage, the loyalty, the vulnerability buried under layers of armor. She's a Chessington girl trained in the British theater tradition, and that foundation is exactly why she can go toe-to-toe with anyone and win. The Trophée Chopard back in the day felt like an early indicator that the industry knew she was special. I've been a fan for years and I'm just glad the rest of the world finally caught on.
