Shun Oguri

I have a real soft spot for Shun Oguri, because he's that rare guy who grew up on camera and somehow turned out cooler and more grounded for it. He started as a child actor and just kept clawing his way to the center of Japanese film and TV, and by the time you blink he's the leading man holding the whole frame together. At 182cm with a face that should be insufferable, he weirdly comes off warm and goofy in interviews, which is the cheat code that makes you root for him. I love that he refuses to sit still too, chasing voice work and even directing. There's a real craftsman hiding under the heartthrob packaging, and I genuinely think he's the type who only gets richer and more interesting with age.
