Kensei Mikami

I'll be honest, Kensei Mikami isn't a name I'd plaster on a billboard, and I think that's kind of the point. The modeling-into-acting path tells me everything: this is a guy who built his craft on set, frame by frame, until he became that reliable face you swear you've seen somewhere before. I love actors like that, the ones who slip into a drama or a film without making it about themselves and just quietly make the scene better. Now in his forties, with an Instagram and that settled, lived-in kind of presence, I'd bet he's only getting richer to watch. A real craftsman's craftsman, and I'm rooting for him.
