My Take
Kevin Roberts interests me as a case study in how a trained historian becomes a political force. Heading the Heritage Foundation and steering Project 2025, he is far more than an academic footnote, and his earlier stint leading Wyoming Catholic College shows a long commitment to shaping institutions. You can applaud or oppose his aims, but the conviction of grounding a hard political program in scholarly framing is not something to dismiss lightly. I read him as someone who genuinely believes ideas drive history, and who is determined to bend the current moment toward his version of it.
