My Take

Keylor Navas is one of those goalkeepers I genuinely admire. Coming out of Cartago, Costa Rica, a small nation rarely associated with global football stardom, and becoming captain of his country while earning a reputation as one of the greatest CONCACAF keepers ever is a remarkable arc. I love how composed he looks under pressure; that 185 cm frame seems to fill the goal. To me he is proof that elite talent isn't confined to the big footballing nations, and that calm, almost spiritual focus can be as valuable as raw athleticism. A true national hero, and a player I always enjoy watching.
