Kreshna

Krishna interests me because of the family thread running through his story. As the younger brother of director Vishnuvardhan, he grew up where filmmaking was practically the family trade, yet chose to stand in front of the camera rather than behind it. Tamil cinema is its own universe within India, demanding song, dance, action and emotion all at once, and sustaining a leading-man career there is no small feat. I have real respect for actors who carry a regional language and its audiences on their shoulders. Krishna strikes me as one of those dependable performers who anchor an industry rather than chase global headlines.
