My Take
I have a real soft spot for Hajime Shacho. Here's a guy who came out of small-town Toyama with basically a camera and a goofy idea, and somehow became one of the biggest faces in Japanese YouTube. What gets me is the mismatch: he's a Shizuoka University education graduate who channels all that earnest, methodical energy into stuff like building absurdly giant puddings or testing things in obscene quantities. It should be dumb, and it kind of is, but he commits so hard you can't look away. The thing I respect most is how unguarded he stays even at massive scale, like he's still just the neighborhood kid going "wanna mess around together?" Now he's dabbling in TV producing, but I'd bet the core is unchanged: a guy who genuinely wants everyone in on the fun.
