My Take

Kristaps Porziņģis genuinely changed how I picture a modern big man. Standing 7-foot-2 and yet draining three-pointers as a center, he earned the nickname the Unicorn for good reason: he is a rare, almost mythical blend of size and finesse. Coming out of Liepāja in Latvia and climbing all the way to an NBA All-Star nod is no small feat, and I respect the grit it took, especially through serious injury setbacks. What I love most is that soft shooting touch coming from such a towering frame. He is a player who rewrote the limits of his height through pure skill.
