Honestly, Lee Bo-mee is one of those golfers who quietly became a dominant force and somehow never got the global recognition she deserves. Born in Suwon in 1988, she cut her teeth on the LPGA of Korea Tour, picking up four wins in 2009–2010, then made the move to Japan's LPGA Tour and absolutely owned it — 19 wins and back-to-back money titles in 2015 and 2016 is not a fluke, that's consistency at an elite level. What I find genuinely impressive is how she keeps grinding on a circuit that doesn't get much Western press, just racking up wins without the fanfare. She's the kind of player who makes the highlight reel look effortless, and if she'd been competing in the United States, I suspect her name would be a lot more familiar to casual golf fans.
