My Take

Linden Ashby is one of those actors I knew long before I knew his name, which I mean as a compliment. For a generation he's Sheriff Noah Stilinski from Teen Wolf, the steady, decent dad anchoring all that supernatural chaos, and before that he was on Melrose Place. I've got a soft spot for him from Mortal Kombat too. The martial-arts background, karate and taekwondo, clearly fed into his action work and gave his physical performances credibility. He's a dependable character actor who shows up and grounds whatever he's in, and that kind of consistency over decades is genuinely underrated.
