My Take

What pulls me to Loreen is the sheer rarity of what she pulled off: winning Eurovision twice, in 2012 with Euphoria and again in 2023 with Tattoo. Plenty of artists chase one career-defining moment; she manufactured two. I find that more interesting than the trophies themselves, because it suggests an instinct for the contest's specific theatrics that almost nobody else has cracked. Her Swedish-Moroccan background and that controlled, hypnotic stage presence give her work a texture that the bare facts undersell. I'd love to know more, but on these alone I read her as a genuine pop technician, not a one-hit fluke.
