Lorenza Izzo

Lorenza Izzo is one of those performers who earns your respect by going all in, every single time. Born in Santiago and seemingly custom-made for genre cinema, she built her early reputation as Eli Roth's go-to scream queen — surviving the earthquake carnage of Aftershock, getting genuinely lost in the jungle nightmare of The Green Inferno, and holding her own opposite Keanu Reeves in the tense home-invasion thriller Knock Knock. But the role that really showed her range was in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, where she played Francesca Capucci, the Italian wife of Leonardo DiCaprio's character, a turn that was easy to overlook and hard to forget. She's the kind of actress who elevates every project she touches, and I genuinely think Hollywood is still underusing her. Give this woman a real leading role already.
