My Take
Malice intrigues me more than most rappers because of his evolution. Half of the acclaimed duo Clipse with his brother Pusha T, he later rebranded as No Malice and turned toward faith and introspection on solo albums like Hear Ye Him. That willingness to walk away from a hard-edged hit formula in favor of his own convictions reveals real depth. Born in 1972 and shaped by both New York and Virginia, he carries a distinctive presence. I value artists who choose their words over the charts, and his principled reinvention earns my genuine respect.
