My Take
Mark-Paul Gosselaar is, for my generation, forever Zack Morris, but what I respect is that he refused to be trapped by it. Three Young Artist Awards as a kid is one thing; surviving the brutal child-star-to-adult transition is another entirely. He quietly reinvented himself in grittier dramas, then returned to that famous role decades later with real maturity. That kind of longevity in a notoriously fickle industry impresses me far more than the fame itself. The Panorama City teen grew into a genuinely durable, self-aware actor, and I think that deserves more credit than he gets.
