My Take
Max Verstappen is the rare athlete who makes dominance interesting. Four consecutive world titles from 2021 to 2024 could have made Formula One predictable, but I find myself studying his laps the way I would a great pianist's phrasing: the braking points, the throttle patience, the refusal to settle for second even when the championship is safe. Born in Hasselt to a racing family and flying the Dutch flag, he carries two countries' expectations and seems weightless under them. What I respect most is his bluntness; he says what he thinks and drives like he means it, and the scary part is how much may still be coming.
