I always forget May'n is barely 165cm and tiny, because the second she opens her mouth the sound is enormous. To me she's not a voice actress who happens to sing, she's a flat-out powerhouse vocalist who got famous lending that voice to Macross Frontier. "Lion" and "Chase the World" still hit like a punch to the chest, all forward momentum and zero hesitation.
