Melissa Disney

Melissa Disney is the kind of artist I love to champion precisely because you've heard her without ever seeing her. As the title voice of As Told by Ginger, Vivi in Kingdom Hearts II, and Imoen across the Baldur's Gate games, she has quietly lodged herself in the memories of gamers and animation fans worldwide. Born in 1970 and working as a singer, songwriter, writer and producer too, she embodies a rare versatility. To me there's a special kind of mastery in someone who can become a dozen different people with a single instrument: the voice.
