My Take
What stops me cold about Michele Lee is a single statistic: she appeared in all 344 episodes of Knots Landing, the only cast member to do so. That is not just talent, it is endurance, reliability, and a kind of professional loyalty that the industry rarely rewards. A Walk of Fame star and a Drama Desk Award round out a career that started in song and dance and never lost its musicality. I admire performers who can carry a long-running show without burning out or phoning it in. Lee feels like the quiet backbone of a production, the steady center everyone else leans on. That earns my respect.
