Miki Haruna

There's something I genuinely find cool about race queens — they're basically the human equivalent of chrome detailing: precise, high-visibility, and doing serious work in a loud environment while making it look effortless. The fact that she's kept most of her personal life off the radar actually adds to the mystique rather than subtracting from it. She announced her retirement from race-queen work on stage and moved on to new work, which tells me she's still showing up on her own terms. Quietly impressive, honestly.
