My Take

Millie Gibson made the leap I find most fascinating, from a long ITV soap run as Kelly Neelan on Coronation Street to a genuinely iconic role as Ruby Sunday in Doctor Who. That's a serious vote of confidence to hand a companion role to someone so young, and stepping into the TARDIS at her age takes real nerve. What I respect is that the soap grind clearly forged her, all that volume of work builds instincts you can't fake.
