Mina (Japanese singer)

Mina is the one I always end up watching when the camera pulls back on TWICE, because she's the quiet anchor the whole formation seems to orbit around. You can feel the ballet in her, that Japan-raised girl who trained for years before getting scouted in Osaka and then went off to make a life in Korean pop, with all the language and culture she had to carry to pull it off. What gets me is the gap: offstage she reads as soft-spoken, almost shy, a little in her own world, and then the music hits and something flips and she's pure precision. No wasted motion, no scrambling, just centered. I have a soft spot for performers who never look like they're trying hard, and Mina is exactly that kind of steady. Underrated, in the best way.
