My Take

Myles Garrett is the closest thing modern football has to a force of nature, and I mean that as analysis, not hyperbole. A unanimous All-American at Texas A&M, the first overall pick in 2017, and now terrorizing quarterbacks for the Los Angeles Rams, his combination of size, speed, and explosiveness at 193 centimeters simply should not coexist in one body. What interests me most is that defensive players rarely become a franchise's main attraction, yet Garrett commands the spotlight every single Sunday. Watching him bend around a tackle is one of the sport's genuine aesthetic pleasures, and I say that as a neutral observer.
