My Take

Nadja Auermann is, to me, the embodiment of the 1990s supermodel era when individual faces still defined fashion. Born in Berlin in 1971, she became famous partly for a Guinness record claim about having the longest legs of any model, which is the sort of detail that sticks but undersells her actual impact on runways and editorials. At 180 cm she had unmistakable presence, and she later moved into acting.
