My Take

Clayson is the kind of player I find quietly fascinating: a left winger working in a frame that's only 166 cm in a sport that often worships size. To me that says everything about his game must live in his feet, his timing, and his nerve rather than raw physique. Carrying the wing for Sport Recife, in front of some of the most passionate crowds in Brazil, is no small assignment. I have a soft spot for these craftsmen who survive on guile instead of stature, and I'd love to watch how he turns being underestimated into an advantage.
