My Take
Natasha Liu Bordizzo intrigues me because she arrived with an unusually full deck: a taekwondo background, real screen presence, and a university education to ground it all. Landing a lead in the Crouching Tiger sequel as a debut is no small thing, and her path through Hollywood and streaming dramas feels very much of this moment. What I appreciate most is the balance of physical credibility and intelligence she brings; she is not just cast for her looks. With Australian and Chinese roots, she represents a genuinely modern kind of star, and I suspect her best work is still ahead.
