Natsuki Aizawa

Natsuki Aizawa is a handball player born January 6, 1999, and honestly, just the fact that she's carved out enough of a public presence to land on the radar says something — handball is one of those sports that Japan hasn't quite made mainstream yet, which means anyone building a name in it is doing so the hard way, on pure performance. She built her name at Hokkoku Bank, then made the jump to Germany's Thüringer HC in 2024 and won the European League in 2025 — she's out there competing, not managing a personal brand. I find myself genuinely curious to see where she ends up as she moves through her late twenties, because Japan's handball scene has real room to grow, and players like her are exactly who'd push it forward.
