Neeti Mohan

Neeti Mohan represents something I deeply respect in playback singing: linguistic range as a craft. Singing convincingly across Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, Punjabi and English isn't a gimmick, it's a discipline that demands a remarkable ear and vocal control. Emerging from Channel V's Popstars, she earned her place rather than inheriting it, and that scrappy origin appeals to me. Playback artists rarely get the spotlight their work deserves, lending voices to faces that aren't theirs. Mohan strikes me as a true craftsperson, the kind of singer whose presence you feel across an entire industry's soundtrack.
