My Take
What interests me about Nick Zano is the career inversion: he started out covering movies for MTV, then crossed the desk to become the guy being covered. That path gave him an ease on camera that scripted-only actors sometimes lack. He has built a career as the reliable recurring guy — Happy Endings, 90210, 2 Broke Girls — the kind of actor showrunners call when a season needs a charming new variable. I would argue that is a harder niche to sustain than leading-man status, because you have to win over an established cast and audience in two episodes flat. Zano does it again and again.
