My Take

Noel Cuevas earns my respect simply for reaching the top. A Puerto Rican outfielder who made the majors with the Colorado Rockies, he climbed out of an island that breathes baseball and produces talent by the boatload, where the odds against any one prospect are staggering. That alone tells me about his discipline and resolve. He keeps an active Instagram and X presence too, which hints at someone who genuinely values his fans. He may not have become a household name, but in my book any man who has stood on a Major League field is a hero worth celebrating, and worth remembering.
