My Take

Fisher is, for my money, a slow-burn talent who quietly became the emotional anchor of Shameless. Mickey Milkovich began as a throwaway thug and grew into one of the show's most affecting arcs, and Fisher carried that transformation with real conviction. He's the sort of actor who disappears into a role rather than selling a face, which is why I trust him with material that could easily tip into caricature. Coming out of Vancouver and still relatively young, he feels like a performer with untapped range, and I'm genuinely curious which unexpected role he'll surprise me with next.
