My Take
Nolan North is proof that the most influential performer in a game often never shows his face. As Nathan Drake in Uncharted and Desmond Miles in Assassin's Creed, he gave a generation of players characters they genuinely cared about, all through voice and motion capture alone. What impresses me is his range and sheer workload; he's voiced countless roles across major franchises while making each feel distinct. His BAFTA Special Award and Game Awards recognition confirm what gamers already knew. Being born on Halloween, a man of a thousand voices, is almost too perfect. I deeply respect this kind of invisible craftsmanship that quietly shapes whole worlds.
