Owen Teague

Teague is a young actor with a real gift for unsettling, internal characters, the kind who can make stillness feel dangerous. He kept popping up in horror projects like the It films, always bringing more nuance than the genre demanded, before stepping into the lead of Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. Carrying a blockbuster entirely through performance-capture is no small feat for someone his age, and he pulled it off with surprising emotional depth. There is an old-soul quality to him that suggests he is building a serious career rather than chasing quick fame. I think he is one of the more interesting actors of his generation to watch.
