My Take
Parambrata Chatterjee interests me precisely because he built his name in Bengali cinema rather than chasing the louder spotlight. A Jadavpur University graduate who plays Topshe in the beloved Feluda films, he sits at the heart of Bengali storytelling culture. What draws me in is that he both acts and directs, the mark of someone with stories he genuinely needs to tell. There's an artist's temperament here, someone working with his feet on the ground far from Bollywood's noise. I have a soft spot for these author-minded performers who do quiet, dense, lasting work.
