Puma Swede

I find Puma Swede genuinely interesting beyond the obvious. The stage name, borrowed from the Ford Puma sports car, has a sly wit to it, and there's something telling about a Stockholm-born performer building a long career in North American adult film and then sitting down to write her own autobiography. Whatever one thinks of the industry, I respect anyone who insists on narrating their own life in their own words rather than letting others define it. As a tall feature dancer with a body of work spanning hundreds of films, she clearly understood self-presentation. Authorship of one's own story earns my regard.
