My Take

Rasheed Wallace is one of those players I admire precisely because he never hid what he felt. Sixteen NBA seasons, a 211 cm frame, and a college pedigree from North Carolina would be enough on paper, but what stays with me is the fire. Plenty of athletes coast on cool detachment; Wallace left everything on the floor, technical fouls and all. Now coaching, I imagine he passes that intensity to younger players who need to learn that caring loudly is not a flaw. A Tiger by the zodiac and every inch of it, he is the kind of competitor I will always root for.
