RJ Mitte

RJ Mitte earns my genuine respect, not my sympathy, and that distinction matters to him too. Diagnosed with cerebral palsy at three, he turned what many would hide into a deliberate platform, choosing roles where his disability could educate audiences. His Walter Jr. in Breaking Bad anchored one of television's great ensembles and shared in a deserved SAG award. Beyond acting, his move into producing shows real ambition. I find his refusal to be defined by limitation quietly powerful. Hollywood needs more performers who expand who gets to be on screen, and Mitte has done that with grace and grit.
