My Take
Robbie Williams fascinates me because he turned vulnerability into stadium entertainment. Plenty of boy-band alumni chase credibility; he chased connection instead, and that is why Angels still gets sung by entire crowds decades on. I admire how openly he has wrestled with self-doubt while performing with the swagger of a man who has none — that contradiction is the engine of his appeal. Coming out of Stoke-on-Trent with his working-class wit intact, he never pretended to be cooler than his audience. For me, he is the rare pop star whose flaws made him bigger, not smaller.
